Meet The Team
Co-founder & Principal Architect
Tanvi Shah
Tanvi Shah is the Co-founder and Principal Architect of Taru Atelier. Driven by a passion for urban living and sustainable design, she earned a Bachelor of Architecture from Manipal Academy of Higher Education and pursued a Master’s in Collective Housing from UPM and ETH Zurich. Tanvi gained valuable experience at ADP Ingénierie in aviation projects and later at Weston Williamson + Partners in London, contributing to High-Speed Rail and aviation projects. Returning to India, she co-founded Taru Atelier with her mother, integrating global insights with local sensibilities to create innovative, sustainable living environments.
CO-Founder & Principal Interior Designer
Amisha Shah
Amisha Shah is the co-founder and principal interior designer of Taru Atelier. She holds a Bachelor of Arts from MS University Vadodara, where she also served as a senior cadet captain in the navy wing of the National Cadet Corps. With over 25 years of experience, Amisha has worked on major projects, including collaborations with India Railways and various residential and commercial ventures. In 2023, she co-founded Taru Atelier with her daughter. Recognized with numerous accolades, including the Career Achievement Award from Utkarsh Vidyalaya in 2016, her work has significantly impacted Vadodara's design landscape.
